Prof. Martin Spraggon Hernandez

Section Manager - Research Partnerships Professor

Dr. Martin Spraggon is a progressive Professor of Strategy and Innovation Management with more than 30 years of international industry and consultation experience across the GCC, Europe, and the Americas. After serving as the Dean of the School of Business and Quality Management at Hamdan Bin Mohamed Smart University, the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs at Mohamed Bin Rashid School of Government, and the Director of Executive Education at the American University of Sharjah, he became the Section Manger of Research Partnerships at Rabdan Academy. Professor Spraggon specializes in governance, strategy, innovation and creativity, sustainability, and design thinking as well as in emotionally intelligent leadership, and education. He has been involved in the conception, development, delivery, and administration of executive education and leadership development programs for the last 20 years in the private and public sectors in North and Central Americas, Europe and the UAE. He is a regular conference speaker on artificial intelligence, blockchain, strategy, and leadership. Dr. Spraggon co-authored two books with Palgrave Macmillan and Routledge and published more than 100 peer-reviewed scientific articles and case studies on corporate governance, health-care management, innovation and knowledge management, organizational play, family businesses, authentic leadership, executive compensation, and M&As.
